Quite a bit has happened -- had to take a leave from my internship in order to recuperate from sickness, went to South Africa to meet my boyfriend and his family, and to train in paediatric surgery, lost 4kg in a single day (don't worry, I didn't starve myself -- quite the contrary)...
That said, I've had less time to work on my creative projects since my internship started. I still dabble in art every now and then, but any new stories and artwork are very sporadically finished.
After 6 years in the "closed species" community, I decided to leave it as a buyer. But Pax, you made stories with these characters, too. Yes, that's right, but I have plans to publish some of my work commercially in the future. Whether I do or not is for time to tell, but I prefer to have more freedom with what I can do with the character designs I own. I am currently in the process of negotiating commercial use for designs I didn't create myself, and so far, all is well.
I've also been receiving psychotherapy for the last three months, and on my recent visit, my therapist told me that I've been the happiest he has ever seen, noting that I was depressed when we started regular sessions (my psychological evaluation results haven't been released yet, for some weird reason, so I have no clue whether I was actually clinically depressed or not.) Still, it seems to be a step in the right direction.
Hopefully I can focus on my projects more, this time. I will be updating the "Projects" page shortly to reflect the current status of my stories.
